	Chisuji World Background The date is August 18, 2004, and Rodney Davidson is arriving in Tokyo, Japan to tour the city, the trip a graduation present from his parents. Rod is a fan of Anime and Manga, coming from the Arlington, Virginia area in the United States. He is fairly excited about arriving in Japan, eager to explore the city that is the location and source for most of his favorite anime / manga series. On the same airplane is Brawyn Flamelocke, a mysterious occult investigator, who is returning to Japan at the behest of an old friend. Brawyn's friend is the caretaker of ancient shrine in Tokyo, the descendant of a man who once called Brawyn as part of his family. 	Rodney (Rod) Davidson An American college student traveling in Tokyo, Japan, Rod has just turned 18, (born June 5, 1986) He is a college freshman and is visiting the land that spawned the anime / manga genre he is an avid fan of. 	Brawyn Flamelocke Brawyn Flamelocke is a woman without known roots, a wanderer who travels from place to place. She has a bit of a reputation in the occult field as an investigator, one who does not work with others and is a bit 'out there' in her methods. 	Naomi Hasegawa Unless in her human form, Naomi appears to be a humanoid fox, with perky facial features, bright red hair hanging down in her face, about shoulder length, emerald green eyes, a rather large bushy fox tail. She stands about 5'5", maybe 110 pounds, rather well built but not over endowed, graceful motions showing her training in some sort of martial arts.
